General Ledger Module

Managing Company Resources

The General Ledger Module is at the center of all accounting information processed by the system. It recaps data needed by decision makers and evaluates overall company profitability and resource usage.

The General Ledger Module is fed information from the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Job Cost modules. It is based upon a series of complete, accurate audit trails and incorporates efficient control systems to ensure accuracy.

Financial Reports

The financial reporting system draws from the Chart of Accounts and creates a Balance Sheet, an Income Statement, and a Budget and Historical Year Analysis. Also produced are transaction ledgers, worksheets and trial balances.

In order for the entire system to be a responsive management tool, any number of months may be maintained in an open status while processing begins for the ensuing month. Therefore, no specific closing date has to be established before processing can continue.

The General Ledger Module generates reports and statements which are designed to be easily read and to present information in summary or detailed form.
